Valentino has always managed to keep their lines sleek and minimalist, but this year's offerings were somehow more revealing and a bit on the "Lucifer" color scheme and had a strangely "dark" feeling.
I respect the signature Valentino's use of sleek and simple
lines. A very Roman touch of classic elegance! The only thing I would wish is the more modest and demure use of sheer silk fabrics and cutouts! Let's pull back a bit from the edge of decadence! After all, how much further should that trend go?
Many haute couture designers are giving a whole new modern meaning to the old fable, "The Emperor is Naked"!
