Dior Couture Spring Summer 2013 Review.
My words for my Dior Couture Spring Summer 2013 Review are: Classical, elegant, feminine, and wearable!
The elegant garden setting was
a perfect choice to set off this season's yummy pale gowns and dramatic
pant ensembles.
Somehow these dresses look so much better outside among the neatly trimmed bushes and pristine pathways

Again, I have two favorites for Christian Dior's Spring offerings. A
true romantic at heart, I vote for these flowery and dreamy dresses.

The first in a pale textured floral, which would create dynamic movement as the 3-D silk flower fabric sways in the breeze! How riveting! |

But, being an organic flower gardener for decades, I am partial to bright shots of color after our long and dreary gray winter days. This white dress is embroidered with just the right amount of cheerful bright blooms to get my attention! I have to say THIS is my all-time favorite! Doesn't it just make you smile? Color therapy at its best! |

Here is a close-up of the embroidery on a shorter black tulle cocktail dress. This is my favorite LBD of this collection. Like the colorful floral white dress above, it is not just another plain black and boring offering, but sports color and texture in an attractive mix. |

I prefer to use subtle florals and textures in my designs while still maintaining a feminine appeal for my client. Notice this sheer floral chiffon dress with an appealing faux fur bodice which is an original highly-textured attention-getter! It begs to be worn and touched! |
