 Couture Insight!

The difference between Style and Fashion is QUALITY.

-Georgio Armani

These words of the great designer ever hold true and are echoed in his latest collection for spring summer 2013. I love what I see when I see this collection because it is so balanced, the complete look from head-to-toe.

The accessories are unique without commanding all of the attention or looking out of place. I have always been a big believer in the torsade for those reasons, see a design of mine for 2013 with the Mt. Saint Helen's Stone gleaming in your line of sight. The unique and rare frequency vibe that wearing this stone puts off is euphoric and blissful! What a healing piece of jewelry! A must have. The necklace also has emerald beads around the giant gem stone for the ultimate in heart chakra regeneration and amplification activation.

What caught my attention from this Armani Prive spring summer review is the classic torsade design but emboldened and empowered with texture and fabric. The semi-matching fabric brings the look of the garments up to the neckline and lengthens the wearer!

Look at this fabric! Are you seeing what we mean?  Such luxury and with a glass like sheen that just throws the light like that! I also incorporate that concept into my gowns for 2013, with a sheer fabric that is an overlay, meaning, no nudity in this couturiers designs!

This Armani Prive  spring summer review is full of praise and admiration!

We are also seeing such vivid colors in these prints, which is such a refreshing break from the black and titanium solids that we saw last year. We feel that solid black is never a good choice in haute couture unless you have a very reserved personality, because it draws the eye away.

Ironically we have found that the reserved personalities rarely choose solid black because of the bold impact hahaha! Why do we see so much of it still? The answer is that it is simply very slimming!......BUT when you are paying couture money for a custom garment, it should have at nothing else, hints of your best colors....if not you could easily have someone mistake it for ready-made!

You want to draw some attention to the luxury fabric, texture, and detailed high-end sewing, knitting, and embellishments. You can do solid black with color accents and still make a very reserved classic ensemble, and that is what Armani did this season. I love him for it!

And who wouldn't? At his age and look at him! Such a beautiful Italian man so full of life and vigor! Such an inspiration to all of us!

I love how he is developing the two piece gown, that is a concept I always promote, and if you see his bodice, his interpretation of a peplum is very classy, instead of it jutting out, we see it still overlaps in such a sleek and slimming shape!

Above all when we see haute couture collections such as the art and innovation of Mr. Armani, it is important that we look at the concepts and ideas to form and develop our very best concept.

We do not want to see a piece and say, "I want that, exactly the way it is!"  That is such a ready-made way of thinking.

I always have each client in some way do a personality profile, and ask the right questions to ensure that no-two-pieces of couture are the same. No two people are the same.........
