Armani SS 2015 in review.
Which elements will you make your own?

With Armani SS 2015 Fashion Week behind us, we have all had some time to go back and take a look at what the designers had to offer us this season! One show I really enjoyed was the Armani Privé Couture Spring line.

This was the tenth anniversary of Armani Privé, celebrated with Armani SS 2015, and it is wonderful to see how far the line has come since 2005. Back then there were only thirty one looks, as compared to today where there are sixty eight looks.

Armani has used Asian inspiration in the past, and when looking at the line it seems as though it has resurfaced again in these designs, but Giorgio wanted to make it clear that his inspiration derived from more of a Japanese influence with prints of bamboo and leaves.

I love everything about this line! It screams beauty. The simple natural white, beige, and olive colors that are conveyed in the beginning of the collection are perfect for spring and summer. The light and fresh color scheme is perfect for any day or late afternoon outing. The flowing dresses and skirts and trousers are such a spring and summer staple. The styles then gradually transition from olive colored, to gray, to black and then beautiful cobalt blue and black fabric.

The blue and black dresses are perfect for any evening event that may need to be attended. One of my favorite parts of this line is that even on the darker colored designs Armani still included the bamboo design. Whether it is on an overlay, or an embroidered design, he kept his original idea and transformed it to fit each individual piece.

Along with the beautiful designs, I really loved the minimum make up look and the middle-part, slicked back pony tail. Besides the little shine of eye shadow, the models are mostly barefaced. I think the minimalist hair and makeup make the beautiful designs stand out, and do not take away from the fashion, which is what everyone is really focused on.

Which of these elements would you make a part of your personal Style!
